DMK minister KR Periyakaruppan was livid after a journalist confronted him about making the general public look ahead to over two hours at an occasion in Tamil Nadu’s Sivaganga district.


A video of DMK minister KR Periyakaruppan threatening a journalist in Tamil Nadu’s Sivaganga district is doing rounds on social media.

The Rural Growth minister was purported to attend an occasion at 10 am. Nevertheless, the minister arrived on the occasion solely after midday, making the general public look ahead to over two hours.

When confronted by a regional journalist over the two-hour delay, the minister threatened the journalist.

The video exhibits the minister furiously getting out of his automobile and approaching the journalist.

“Who waited for 3 hours? Who gave such an interview? Who waited inside?”, the minister may be seen asking the journalist. After that, the minister may be seen approaching the individual recording the ordeal on the telephone.

In the same incident, DMK minister MRK Panneerselvan was additionally caught on digital camera on June 30 for being impolite to a journalist who had questioned the minister relating to fertiliser shortages in Cuddalore.
