SpiceJet’s Dubai flight carrying over 130 passengers and three infants from Madurai was diverted to Goa Airport on Monday because of a medical emergency however later proceeded to its vacation spot after deplaning the ailing particular person, the airline stated. 

SpiceJet flight SG 23 took off from Madurai airport at 9.20 am however was diverted to Goa airport, the place it landed at 10.57 am, SpiceJet stated in an announcement. 

“SpiceJet flight SG 23 of June 20, working from Madurai to Dubai was diverted to Goa because of a medical emergency. On the Goa Airport, the passenger involved was deplaned and the flight proceeded to Dubai the place it has landed,” a SpiceJet spokesperson stated in an announcement. 

The plane, SpiceJet stated, departed from Goa at 12.40 pm and landed in Dubai at 3.56 pm (IST). 

There have been 132 passengers and three infants on board, the airline stated, including one passenger deplaned at Goa Airport.
