Bharatiya Janata Get together chief Shehzad Poonawalla hit out on the suspended Members of Parliament for consuming rooster in entrance of Mahatma Gandhi’s statue.
Because the Opposition MPs staged a protest in entrance of Gandhi statue over the suspension from Parliament, the events took turns arranging meals. On Wednesday, dinner was organised by Trinamool Congree and roti, daal, paneer, and rooster tandoori had been on the menu.
Reacting to this, Shehzad Poonawalla stated, “As per media experiences, some suspended MPs protesting in entrance of Gandhi statue in Parliament consumed ‘tandoori rooster’. Everybody is aware of Gandhi ji had staunch views on slaughter of animals. Many individuals are asking if this was a protest or a farce and a picnic.”

SIT-IN CONTINUES AT PARLIAMENT
The Opposition MPs are holding a 50-hour relay protest over suspension from Parliament. The protest began at 11 am on Wednesday and can proceed until 1 pm Friday. The opposition events have come collectively to create an obligation roster for the protest with each celebration taking duty for making preparations, together with meals, for these sitting on the dharna.

In the meantime, on Thursday, the Opposition selected the doorway to the Parliament as its new protest website.
Braving mosquitoes and the warmth, 5 suspended MPs, together with CPI’s Santosh Kumar and AAP’s Sanjay Singh, spent the evening close to the Gandhi statue in Parliament advanced. TMC’s Dola Sen and Santanu Sen had been current on the website until publish midnight.
With authorities not granting permission for a tent, the 5 MPs slept below the sky as a protest towards the suspension of 24 of their fellow parliamentarians, 20 from Rajya Sabha, and 4 Congress members from Lok Sabha.
“Attributable to heavy rain, 50hr dharna has moved from Gandhi statue to Parliament essential entrance. 29hrs down. 21hrs to go. Opposition MPs nonetheless at dharna demanding authorities to revoke suspension of (now) 27 MPs and focus on value rise, GST,” tweeted TMC Rajya Sabha MP Derek O’Brien.
