West Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Saturday, dialled state’s chief minister Mamata Banerjee 4 instances but it surely went unanswered.

As per the method, each time an individual is arrested, he/she will be able to inform one one who could possibly be a member of the family or relative or good friend.

Whereas being arrested, Partha Chatterjee instructed ED officers that he supposed to tell West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee about his arrest. He made 4 calls, at 2.31 am, 2:33 am, 3:37 am and 9:35 am, however not one of the calls have been answered.

PARTHA CHATTERJEE ARREST :

West Bengal Commerce and Industries Division minister and heavyweight TMC chief Partha Chatterjee was arrested by the ED on Saturday morning in reference to its probe into the alleged faculty jobs rip-off in West Bengal. The arrest of Partha Chatterjee adopted Rs 21 crore in money being recovered from the Kolkata residence of Arpita Mukherjee, an in depth aide of the previous training minister.

Arpita Mukherjee has been remanded to one-day Enforcement Directorate custody. She shall be produced within the PMLA courtroom on Monday.
