Reacting to the event, TMC chief Derek O’Brien stated, “Modi and Shah have suspended democracy…what are you speaking about MPs?”
The Opposition created an uproar within the Rajya Sabha as they raised “rollback GST” slogans. “I wish to inform the members elevating slogans and clapping standing within the effectively of the Home that that is towards the principles. Please return to your seats. The entire nation is seeing that you’re not letting the Home operate,” stated Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh.
