The Nationwide Investigation Company (NIA) has taken over custody of all of the seven accused within the homicide of Amravati-based chemist Umesh Kolhe, a police official mentioned on Tuesday.
The NIA took custody of all of the accused, who had been granted 4 days’ transit remand on Monday after they had been produced earlier than the Amravati courtroom, he mentioned.
The accused are more likely to be produced earlier than the NIA’s Mumbai courtroom on or earlier than July 8, the official added.

Police are looking out for another suspect Shamim Ahmed in reference to the case.
