BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday appealed to all members of the Odisha Meeting to assist NDA candidate Droupadi Murmu within the upcoming presidential election, describing her because the daughter of the state.

His enchantment got here a day after the BJP-led NDA introduced Murmu’s title as its presidential candidate for the July 18 ballot.
On Tuesday, Patnaik had expressed happiness over the nomination of Murmu because the NDA’s presidential nominee. He stated it was a proud second for the folks of the state.

Droupadi Murmu is a politician from India’s tribal group. If elected, 64-year-old Murmu can be the primary President of India from a tribal group of Odisha. She was the primary member of the tribal group to have served because the governor of Jharkhand.
