The armies of India and Thailand have ready a roadmap to spice up engagement, particularly to reinforce cooperation in coaching and finishing up joint drills.

The roadmap was finalised on the fourth Military employees talks held on the metropolis of Ayutthaya in Thailand on July 21 and 22, officers mentioned.

The three-member Indian Military delegation was led by Main Basic Anil Ok Kashid, Extra Director Basic of Worldwide Cooperation of the Military.

The Thai crew was headed by Main Basic Thongchai Rodyoi from the Royal Thai Military.

“The talks have been performed in an especially cordial setting and each side mentioned the conduct of bilateral navy train Maitree,” an official mentioned.

He mentioned the deliberations additionally centered on enhancing coaching programmes and a roadmap was ready for defence cooperation.

The Indian delegation held separate bilateral conferences with the senior navy hierarchy on the Royal Thai Military headquarters in Bangkok, the officers mentioned.

The delegation additionally visited the Command and Employees Faculty in Bangkok, the Artillery Centre and the Artillery Division at Lopburi.

It additionally interacted with Indian Ambassador Suchitra Durai.
