An encounter broke out between militants and safety forces in Kujar village in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday. Two to a few militants are believed to be trapped.

Earlier within the day, two Lashkar-e-Taiba militants, together with a Pakistani nationwide, have been killed in an encounter with safety forces in Srinagar.

“Two terrorists of proscribed terror outfit LeT neutralised by Srinagar Police in a swift encounter in Bemina space of Srinagar. One policeman additionally acquired a minor damage,” tweeted the Kashmir zone police.

“This was the identical group of terrorists, who escaped from the Sopore encounter. We now have been monitoring their motion,” stated police.
